Cameron Clark
Both on and off the yoga mat Cameron aims to find a balance between effort and ease in all things. When you step into one of her classes, you can expect to explore the relationship between breath and sensation, opportunities for mindful reflection, intentional sequencing and a felt sense of restoration. A competitive athlete throughout her childhood and into college, Cameron gradually exchanged 2 a days for a yoga practice starting in 2008. The practice of yoga and mindfulness have been the focal point of her personal development journey, guiding her as she navigates healing and spirituality in a practical way.
Cameron received her yoga certification in New York City in 2011 and has continued to study with renowned teachers across the world with an emphasis on yin yoga, yoga therapeutics and restorative yoga. Cameron has been studying and facilitating Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), an evidence-based clinical intervention for trauma in both individual and group settings since 2014. Cameron is the owner and primary therapist of Beyond Counseling and Wellness where she specializes in integrative healing for trauma survivors. When not in the therapy office or yoga studio, you can find Cameron at the climbing gym, watching the bees in her garden adoringly, snuggling with her weenie dogs, traveling to remote places with her husband and playing with clay in the ceramics studio.
